The face of missions has gradually been changing. In the past, missions involved a Western missionary leaving their homeland to go overseas. Today, we see more and more national people becoming missionaries to reach their own people. In reality, these national missionaries are far more effective, having grown up in the country they serve. Mexican missionaries we fly for have great potential to reach even farther into the mountains with the use of the airplane. Help us expand their reach by providing critical air support. $300 covers one flight for these pastors. Would you, your Sunday School class, or youth group, consider funding a flight or part of a flight on a monthly or one time basis? At this point we see a need of 10 flights a month.

Ministry News:

Co-workers, Dave ad Olivia, pictured below, recently flew down to Tepic, MX to join the team. Now we are looking for a place to hangar the plane! The two other missionary families are working through the not-so-easy process of obtaining visas.

Hey, did you hear that Bethany and Matthew have jobs now? Hint: Matthew may have to dress like a cow one of these days!

• School starts on Aug 7th. Please pray with us for scholarships to come through.
• Paul has been working with Cliff Huntting, giving him a maintenance refresher. All pilots/mechanics need this periodically. The Hunttings move to Tepic, MX. in July, to join the Farmers. This base is taking shape after many years of planning!
  

29C is flying!

29C has been up in the air! She (I’m not sure why planes are female) has already made four ministry flights, taking pastors to share God’s Word. A few “bugs,” as Paul calls them, showed up needing to be worked out. After 25 more hours of flight Paul will clear her for Mexico! The last week in February, 29C was used to take our guys to TX for team meetings.

DINNER AT THE HANGAR

110 people came to the UIMA hangar for dinner! We focused on opening a new base in Mexico to work with the Huichol Tribe. Many of you assisted with this dinner by sponsoring…thank you!
