CALLED TO BE A MISSIONARY The Journey Continues “I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it but I found none.” Ezekiel 22:30.
Missionary stories filled with the heart of God. Please keep them in your prayers.
CALLED TO BE A MISSIONARY The Journey Continues “I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it but I found none.” Ezekiel 22:30.
CALLED TO BE A MISSIONARY The Journey Continues I’m reminded of the song THAT GOES: Great is thy FAITHFULNESS, O God my father, There is no shadow of turning with THEE Thou changest not, THY COMPASSIONS They fail not, As thou HAST been, Thou forever WILT be. Hebrews 10:23 said, “Let us hold tightly WITHOUTContinue reading July – October Prayer letter 2021
Running with God’s Dream CALLED TO BE A MISSIONARY “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved”. But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can theyContinue reading January – March 2021
CALLED TO BE A MISSIONARY Is the Lord calling you to become a Missionary? Young and about to leave high school, I was surprised by the question of becoming a Missionary not once but twice. My initial response was “Me, crazy, A Missionary? No, no.” Years later, guess who became a Missionary!
God’s Concern for All Creation I want to take this opportunity to share insights from an on-line course I’m doing with Discipling Nations Alliance (DNA) which is an organization that serves the Church with teachings that help the body of Christ be the principal agent of restoring, healing and blessing for broken nations. We needContinue reading April 2020
JESUS WEPT Sneak peak in the Heart of my Father. While I was on a flight from the Dominican Republic, this line came to me: “Jesus Wept.” I was reflecting on this verse when I felt grief. Tears flowed from my eyes; I wiped my eyes wondering what the person sitting beside me was thinking.Continue reading August 27, 2019
MEMORY LANE: 2018 is behind us, the year went by so quickly, and we are already in 2019; Wow! Each time I hear someone makes this comment “time flies” I would always respond “for the elect’s sake the days are shortened.” I was cleaning the office one day- and while going through some papers IContinue reading February 2019
Equipping Workers for the Harvest Where do you fit? This question is asked or stated on numerous occasions. “What’s my purpose? Can I rephrase? Where do I fit?” A puzzle has several pieces and each need to be in the right place in order to have a complete puzzle. We are all God’s gift toContinue reading Autumn 2018
“God changes nations from the internal to the external. Therefore, to liberate a nation, we must first liberate the people of a nation. This will occur as we preach the gospel, as Jesus commanded, and then teach believers how to live out the truth of the Bible in their everyday life” quoted from the book Liberating the Nations.
•By example – not what we say, but how we live, being real, in love with Jesus, trusting God etc.
•Relationship – this generation is starved for relationship, invite them to be our friend. They will test us to know if we enjoy being with them
•Listening & obeying God’s voice together – have to be God’s idea, it has to be something that they own from their heart
•Encouragement – they are starved for encouragement, don’t flattery them e.g.saying to them You are smart etc. Honour them for their uniqueness, the wonderful gift in their life etc. The choice they made to serve God. Encourage, don’t manipulate.
•Prayer – pray for them, pray with them.
Dear Friends & Family of YWAM Mobay!
We are so excited to tell you about an opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life here at YWAM Mobay!
The harvest is great, but the labourers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.
I continue to boast about God’s faithfulness, and I still continue to say He is my Father and I am His favourite child. Well this is my story and certainly God’s story. I was owing over U.S.$700 in staff fees and needed to clear the bill by the ending of January, or go on extended furlough to raise support in order to continue serving. In spite of the challenges God gave me His peace, so in spite of not knowing what would happen, I rested in His peace that passes all understanding. God came through, all the debts were paid, thank you for praying and giving, please continue to pray as I am presently seeking persons to partner with me, who can commit to give at least U.S $20 monthly.
Hi Friends, It’s almost time again for our Access Summer Camp. Can you help me to promote this camp, more information about the camp can be found at ywamjamaica.org , also forms are on-line. Below is a flyer with the details. Dreaming with Him, Ingrid
I trust that this mail will find you in good health and enjoying the goodness of the Lord. I want to share with you what the Lord is doing in my life and ministry, and invite you to partner with me as we continue to press on to see the Great Commission fulfilled.
I have recently completed the Principle of Children and Youth Ministry School (PCYM) in Youth With A Mission, Puerto Rico. The school has better equipped me to work with children, adolescents and youths. It gave me a better understanding of God’s vision for children, and provided me with more experience of working in camps. The training really helped my own personal growth, and character development, which are essential in working with youths and other ministry.
The Lord has been speaking to me that this is to be a season of training for me, to prepare me for the mission God has placed me on. My mission statement is to “Equip others who will mobilize and disciple children and youths with seeds of truths, so they will be salt and light in the market place, therefore bringing the Kingdom wherever they go”.
YWAM Puerto Rico’s King’s Kids, as well as various staff and volunteers, are traveling to St. Croix for two weeks, starting July 4th. We will be running a youth camp for 12 – 20 year old youth of St. Croix. We have heard God’s heart for the people of St. Croix and expect God to reveal His truth and bring much healing and restoration to their lives!
Hi Family and Friends,
For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes out innermost thoughts and desires.
The word is active when we practice it, reading alone is not sufficient. I have to constantly practice the word, not doing what I feel, but what the word says.
