Ingrid knew that the Lord was calling her into children’s ministry. After Discipleship Training School, she worked with King’s Kid Ministry, the youth arm at YWAM. She also started a mission’s department and a children’s ministry at the Lionel Town Open Bible Church. The children’s ministry grew to include many children from different denominations.

After moving from Clarendon to a new community and environment at Montego Bay, she started another children’s ministry through YWAM named the Kids For Christ Ministry which catered to children and teens ages 18 and under. These children were taught biblical principles and how to use these principles to reach others for Christ both locally and internationally.

Kids For Christ Ministry has gone to countries such as Grand Cayman, Trinidad, Barbados and is presently planning to go to St. Lucia in December 2006. The ministry is run by a committee of teens and adults and has a teenager serving as the president. Kids For Christ has done street ministry, a prayer walk, visited the orphanages, etc.
