Jason initially came to be Academic Dean, but soon was asked to become the 10th President of the school in 2009 after the former president resigned. Jason completed his Doctor of Ministry in the spring of 2011; his doctoral dissertation developed a spiritual formation strategy and process for IBC students.

As President and Acting Academic Dean of the Indian Bible College, Jason oversees the staff and faculty. He is responsible for the financial health and fleshing out the vision of the school.

Jason and Sarah have three little girls and a boy. They movend their family to Flagstaff and have committed to 10 years of service at IBC, are planning for 20 years, and are prepared to spend the rest of their lives at IBC—so great is their burden for the Native church and its need for leaders. They are also very compelled by the incredible need for Native American missionaries around the world, who have greater doors open to them for the gospel than most ethnicities. Their vision is that IBC would grow into a mighty training institution that would help Native America cease to be the mission field and begin to send multitudes of missionaries around the world.
