March 2012

If you are reading this, either you or someone close to you has been diagnosed with cancer. It is a scary time and the doctors and websites usually look a little grim. I hope that these postings will give you hope and get your focus on God’s words to you and not on the words we hear in our heads saying to “panic, worry, and think thoughts of doom.”

I just went back to my doctor and even after all these years, it still feels good to know I’ve been checked over and given a clean bill of health. I am so grateful that I am healthy and strong.

During the process,I grew alot. I poured out my worries, grief, and heart to God and he poured in his love and peace.

I will try to remember to live a grateful life and to be most compassionate and prayerful for those who are in the midst of cancer at this very time. Feel free to email me with your prayer requests, I would count it a privileged to pray for you.
