Thank you for your sending us emails, cards, your faithful prayers, and generous financial support. We are grateful for God’s faithfulness to us through each of you – and for your faithfulness in what the Lord has blessed you with.

We are still adjusting to life and ministry working here in Raytown, MO based here at our house. After working in Papua New Guinea for twenty years, it has been an adjustment for us to be doing a different type of ministry. Sandy is doing a successful job at turning this house into a home for us – the house that I, Steve, was born in.

The editing of the book of Philippians has been completed. Thank you for your prayers as God gave wisdom to make this work a great success in communicating God’s thoughts more clearly. Please pray for the translation team as they make decisions that will either revitalize this work or bring this translation to an end. There have been goals that are necessary for the team to achieve, for this work to continue. Those goals have not been met.

We are assured that being thankful does not depend on what is going on around us. God is at the very center of everything that goes on in our lives. We are so thankful for what God has done in our lives, that we mindfully leave His fingerprints wherever we go. We want to be sure that if we are ever arrested for being a Christian, that there will be enough evidence to convict us – to the glory of God.

Our furlough has been extended by six months for us to raise additional support. We are still short about $550 per month. Please pray for God to supply this financial need by December.

Hello from Steve and Sandy Aholt,

Thank you for your continued faithful prayers and financial support for our ministry for Christ. After twenty years in Papua New Guinea (PNG), God has led us to the USA to continue our labor for Him here. We are in the midst of transition from a ministry based in PNG to a ministry based in the USA.

Thank you also for your prayers for our physical needs. We are doing well and have no new changes to report about for now. Praise the Lord!

Our mission, ABWE, is wanting us to officially change our field of work from Papua New Guinea (PNG) to the USA. This will require the ABWE Board to approve this change at their November meeting. The Board has recently voted to extend our furlough for six months for us to raise some additional support.

Dear Praying Friends and Supporters,

Thank you so much for your continued prayers and financial support of our ministry for Christ. Because, without Him, we can do nothing! He has asked us to pray that more laborers will be sent.

We are temporarily based in Winston-Salem, through April, to finish reporting to our supporters in this area of the nation. We then will return to our home base in Kansas City, MO. Please pray for safety as we travel.

Through various circumstances, in Papua New Guinea, we saw that God was trying to show us that He was closing the door on our aviation work. We came home four months early due to medical needs.

Thank you for your prayers as we have travelled east. We had some sweet, but brief, times with our daughter and her family for three days. The children in school, both parents working, plus Aaron taking online classes made the time with them very brief.

Thank you also for your continued prayers as we travel eastward to visit friends and family on our way. One couple, Phil and Jan Smith, will be departing the USA to work with ABWE in Papua New Guinea soon. They are presently held up due to visa issues. Thank you for your prayers about their visa situation and as they say, “Farewell!” to their friends and family.

Thanks to each of you for your continued prayers and financial support during our home ministry. We have reported to about one-half of our supporters. 

God gave us a beautiful scenic trip through the Appalachian Mountains. The firmament truly shows His handiwork. We will be based in Missouri during the winter months until March, when we return to North Carolina to complete our home ministry reporting.
