Greetings from Steve and Sandy Aholt,
There is not much time until Christmas Day – the day that we celebrate the miracle of the virgin birth of Jesus here on this earth. Isaiah spoke of Jesus as Wonderful, Counsellor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
We continue to praise God for the health and strength that He gives us. A majority of people are focused on the pandemic. Our focus is on the LORD! We are thankful to serve a God who never changes and promises us peace as we trust him – every moment of every day!
Words cannot express our thankfulness for your continued prayers and financial support for us during our retirement years. Your love and care for us mean more than we can express.
Thank you for your prayers for Sandy’s cousin. Her blood work results have not allowed her to have the first of her two hips replaced. Wednesday we found out that her blood is now strong enough for her to undergo surgery. Thank you for your prayers about this as we continue as her primary caregivers.
God has once again used our testimonies during Steve’s 50th high school reunion. One man has prayed and trusted Christ as his savior. We are working to disciple him, in his new family, with a new Father, and a new set of family guidelines – the B I B L E – Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. Please pray for his spiritual growth. He has a desire to see his son saved, too!
Another man came to Steve and asked him if he did counseling. Steve asked if he needed counseling, and he replied that he wanted an accountability partner. He is trying to escape an addiction that he has had since his teen years. Please pray for Steve to have words fitly spoken like apples of gold in pictures of silver (Proverbs 25:11). Pray also that this man will finally be set free from this bondage of sin.
