Greetings from Steve and Sandy Aholt,
We are thanking the Lord for you each and every day. We are praying daily for God’s blessing upon each of you, knowing that without Him, we can do nothing.
Thanks to each of you who were praying for Journey Kids Camp 2026, a Vacation Bible School offered by Journey Church International. Here are the results of your prayers for each child to be a Difference Maker:
- There were 1,020 children who attended.
- There were 100 life changing spiritual decisions made.
The Saturday and Sunday Father’s Day Celebration Services:
- God provided a beautiful rain free day for Saturday’s service. There were over 1,400 in attendance, followed by a Cookout, Family games, and a Classic Car show. There were nearly 70 people who brought out their cars for the show. Many of those in attendance were first time visitors to Journey Church International.
- After the third service on Sunday, there were 15 children baptized.
- After the Sunday services, we were able to spend the remainder of the afternoon with Sandy’s dad. It was a great culmination of the week by celebrating Father’s Day with him.
Thank you for your prayers and faithful support for our ministry in our retirement years. We are like old farmers who never die – they just spade away – planting, watering, and trusting God for the increase. We are learning to number our days, that we may get a heart of wisdom.
Please pray for these people:
- Mike – Sandy’s brother who is battling continuing health issues
- Mike Monson – a friend who is start treatments for cancer
- Tom Broadhurst – a friend who is going through treatments that offer a cure for his type of cancer
- Us – as we both deal with some health issues (Sandy’s spinal pinched nerves getting some relief through therapy, and Steve with blood pressure under control, and a new cardio issue; wisdom for the doctors, and for proper effective treatment).
