Psalm 90:12 NLT “ Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom.”

The seasons, the days, they now seem to come quickly and go quickly. Today as I’m writing, the calendar says we are at the end of February. Wow! After a few cold months in the tri-cities , we are ready for spring!
Travel
Last month we traveled to the big Island of Hawaii and met with my siblings. The purpose of trip was to accomplish the wishes of our parents to have their ashes spread in the area where my mother had grown up. Her father was the assistant manger of a sugar plantation pre-world war 2. The plantation was located in the Hakalau area north of the city of Hilo. It was a special time as we respected our parent’s wishes plus enjoyed opportunity to visit with family as it had been many years since we all had been together.
Associate program
I and my colleague in Florida continue to review applications of candidates applying for associate membership. Places of ministry for these new associate members will be in South America, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines and USA. One couple , who are in their retirement years, are going to the Philippines to serve in a guest house ministry . The husband expressed that he wanted to finish well. He wanted his retirement years to be marked by service as well. And he wanted to be on a team that was making a difference for the Kingdom of God. Special! Meaningful and Encouraging!
Interface & Encounter
The 6 week college level program being held in June in Papua New Guinea and Brazil currently includes 42 students. Also, many applications to the short term 2 week mission Encounter trips have been processed and are being processed. These trips are scheduled for this summer and winter. The destinations for the two week trip are Brazil, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, southeast Asia., southeast Africa, and south Asia. The trips to the Philippines and southeast Africa are full. PTL! Many, who are going, are seeking clarification from the Lord about going into mission ministry as a career.
Translations
The New Testament in the language of the Biem people of Papua New Guinea is nearing completion. The missionaries are asking for prayer for good health, final editing, formatting, minor revisions and the needed finances for printing. In March, the Banwaon church in the Philippines will have a dedication for the Banwaon New Testament. Ethnos360 Translators have completed 92 translations with 91 translations in progress. It is anticipated that 22 New Testaments in the indigenous languages will be completed in the next 5 years. PTL!
Thank you
We are deeply grateful for your partnership in seeing remote people groups won for the Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you richly in 2025!
