Dear family and friends,
Well, it’s about that time for us to jump back over the pond! As usual, the time has flown by! We have a few Sundays left at First Baptist Church – Weatherford (FBCW) and fly out in early April. We so appreciate you praying for us and the requests that we post here. God is so faithful to answer as you are faithful to pray!
Here are our answers to prayer:
- The Revuca team from Kostol Nahrane in Slovakia arrived in Weatherford and returned safely to Revuca. Three of the 11 people are continuing their journey out west.
- Many friendships were formed over the course of 10 days as FBCW and the Revuca team fellowshipped, served, and encouraged one another.
- As Trey has said, this is a dream come true to have such a healthy church partnership with one another! Since FBCW is the church in which Trey became a Christian and was baptized, it’s particularly special to him.
- We are so grateful for how FBCW embraced and loved on the team from Revuca. Lives were definitely changed on both sides of the Atlantic.
- We now have an apartment that FBCW has rented in Revuca, Slovakia to house those who will be on mission with God to Europe in 2024!
- The Pastor Search Committee (PSC) has been formed to find a pastor for FBCW as our pastor is retiring this December after serving so well for 23 years.
- Our brothers and sisters at our church plant, Connect, in Bratislava, Slovakia had a wonderful retreat together last weekend. Thanks so much for praying for them.
Here are our new requests:
- Ask for continued wisdom for Seth – our Missions Pastor at FBCW, the Missions Committee at FBCW, and leaders of Kostol Nahrane in Revuca, Slovakia as we continue to develop our mutual partnership. Pray for those from FBCW who are planning to invest their time and money in this church plant. Many will be going, giving, and praying!
- Please pray for these men: Jeff, George, Kendall, Reggy, and Tommy. Also, pray for the man that God has to be the new pastor at FBCW.
- Pray for D. as he continues on the road to knowing God in a personal way through His Son, Jesus. His health has improved and is hoping to pursue a relationship more actively with God.
- Remember Trey and Elise as they prepare to return to Slovakia on April 2nd. Pray that we would use our time wisely in these last few weeks here in Oklahoma and Texas. We have to go see the grands one last time before we head back to Europe!
