Dear family and friends,
Since arriving back in the States on June 24th, we have been so blessed to have our sons, daughter in love and grands with us in Weatherford, Oklahoma most of the time! This has made our hearts so happy! We have also loved being back in our home church, First Baptist Church – Weatherford, amongst our brothers and sisters in Christ. Elise has also really enjoyed being back and exercising with other women at the YMCA.
We have also had the privilege of having Elizabeth, a sister in Christ from the church in Revuca, Slovakia, here for the last month raising both prayer and financial support for her new job and online ministry with CRU (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). Elizabeth will return to Slovakia with virtually all of her support raised financially! (If you are interested in supporting her and the ministry God has called her to in prayer or financially, please let us know!)
Elise is on her way to Revuca, Slovakia with a team of seven from First Baptist Church – Weatherford today and will return later this month. We will be helping with a Youth Camp of 70-80 youth, ages 15-25, also in August. We will also be having a women’s meeting and will be prayerwalking the town and campsite. Please pray for God to be preparing the hearts of those that we will be encountering during these activities and that God would give us the words and boldness to say what He would desire.
We would also ask you to protect all of us as we travel and the families that are left behind in Oklahoma. Thanks so much!
