Dear friends and family,
I just wanted to give you a brief update from our last newsletter and to thank you for your continued prayers.
Answers to prayer and requests:
- Trey preached two great sermons last Sunday, despite having been sick for a few days prior to preaching.
- Elise had a very good visit with her hair stylist that she has had since 2012! This is the first time she has agreed to meet outside of the salon, and we were able to continue our conversation about spiritual health. Pray that D. will make it a priority to spend time in God’s Word each day and that she will be obedient to God in every area of her life.
- Our neighbor came over for coffee and greeted me with, “I have good news! My daughter, Ema, got baptized and is now a Christian.” I was able to share my testimony about baptism and conversion with her, and she was much more engaged in conversation. Ask that M. would have a greater desire to know God in a personal way.
- Trey and I met with our friend, D., for lunch and he is struggling in every area of his life. There truly is a spiritual battle going on. Ask that he would turn his life completely over to the Lord’s control and have a proper understanding of the God who loves him.
- Elise will be meeting with a young woman today who just graduated from University and needs to make some significant changes in her life so that she can be in right standing with God. Pray for her to be willing to make these changes and recognize the importance of these decisions for her own mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health.
- Please continue to remember the requests previously mentioned in the last newsletter on June 13th in regard to the team coming from OK to Revuca, Slovakia. They are listed below. Thanks!

Dear friends and family,
Wow, it’s hard for me to fathom that we have less than a month here. There will be lots jam-packed in this next month and we would appreciate your prayers.
- Please remember Trey as he will be preaching twice on Sunday, June 15th. He preaches in the morning at the International church, Bratislava Faith Community, and in the evening at our church plant, Connect.
- Elise has meetings with two women that she has known for quite a while and would ask you to pray that God would convict them of sin and cause them to wholeheartedly believe in Jesus. Ask that I would be sensitive to their specific needs and know how to address them.
- Pray for the mission team from our home church in Oklahoma as they fly to Europe on June 20th. Ask for smooth travel, health for the nine who are coming, and God to prepare their hearts for the opportunities that God will give them while in Revuca, Slovakia. Also, ask that God would prepare the community for their arrival with open and teachable hearts
- Pray for Trey and Elise as we prepare to meet the team in Revuca June 23-27. We will be leading in a prayer walking seminar and prayer walking on Tuesday morning, June 23rd. Ask that God would use these efforts for His glory.
