Greetings from Arizona,

It’s winter, but so far, we’ve experienced mostly mild weather, which is quite a change from last year when by this  time there was over 6 feet of snow on the ground. However, it’s likely to change as February approaches with the  forecast of 4-14” of snow the first weekend triggering a tune up of the snowblower, filled gas cans for the generator  in case of power outages, lots of firewood at the ready for the wood stove, and more.

New Semester

Indian Bible College (IBC) classes have been underway for a few weeks of the spring semester. One new full-time student joined our student body, whom I have the pleasure of having in class and Life Coaching with her each week. Leanna comes from Fairbanks, Alaska. Being far away from home hasn’t been easy, but she’s adjusting. Please pray for Leanna that the Lord will meet her every need, grow her faith and help her to be diligent with her school load of classes and commitments resulting in a life that’s being transformed and renewed.

I’m team-teaching Personal Finance again this spring, as well as teaching Lifetime Fitness, which will begin after  spring break. Please pray for the Personal Finance students that they’ll grasp a Biblical worldview of money and how God desires that they budget, give, and apply biblical principles to the use of their resources.

Financial Aid has undergone some huge shifts to the application process. Please pray that I’ll guide the students well who will be returning for the 24-25 school year as they engage with the Free Application for Federal Student  Aid (FAFSA) this spring. Also, I could use ongoing wisdom for assisting students who have special financial  circumstances requiring additional verification or processing of their unique situations for eligibility for Pell Grant.

IBC Faculty and Staff

What a joy it is to work with an amazing group of Believers, serving our students side by side, united for the cause  of Christ and trusting in our Redeemer to use our lives to grow His Kingdom here on earth through pouring into our  students lives.

Ten of our staff are graduates of IBC and half of the staff are Native Americans. Please pray with us for more Native Faculty as their impact in the students’ lives is invaluable.

Personal Update

At this stage in my health condition, it appears seeking medical guidance through the Mayo Clinic is the next step. I  have no idea how long the process will take before I can be seen, but I trust the Lord will provide the ongoing perseverance and endurance necessary. Thank you for continuing to pray for answers to my hypercalcemia.

I would also appreciate prayers for my father, who continues to suffer from progressing dementia. As his care-giver  I need continual wisdom, patience, and guidance. Please pray he remains safe while I’m at work all day.

Have a blessed 2024!

Thank you for your prayers and support,
