Greetings from Chihuahua Mexico!!

We thank the Lord for your prayers and partnership with us. We’re sure you have heard ALOT about the swine flu here in Mexico. We want to let you know that we are all fine. There are no official cases of the flu here in Chihuahua. Still, all schools are closed. Many churches have suspended services and meetings. Sports events are canceled as are ALL gatherings of larger groups of people. Today is a holiday and the streets are deserted. We see MANY people wearing medical masks. It is a strange feeling but we are thankful that the government is attempting to contain this flu BEFORE it is widespread.

THANKS for your prayers as we traveled out to the tribe and back. We were delayed one day going out due to high winds. We drove 3 hours to an airstrip, traveled by plane and then had a 2 hour drive (or 3 hour walk) to the tribe. On the way in, we drove; but on the way back we hiked (uphill). It was a blessing to be there.
