Greetings from Arizona,

We’ve started off the 24-25 school year at Indian Bible College (IBC) with prayer, fasting, prayer walks, more prayer and a lot of trusting in God for what’s ahead.

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:23-25

It’s a joy to be united with 21 other staff at IBC serving our students by being unified for the glory of God and His Kingdom purposes. Our team desires to walk in freedom and unity, uplifting one another for our needed encouragement but also as an example to the students of IBC’s first core value: Unity in Christian Community. Above is our staff photo taken at our annual 3-day retreat in early August.

Prayer and Fasting Day

Mid-August we fasted and prayed throughout an entire day in different groups and with prayer walks around the neighborhood that surrounds IBC with the hope that the Lord would allow the purchase of properties for additional campus housing. One main petition was for God to breakthrough by bringing more students to campus this fall. The Lord always answers, but we often don’t know how He’ll bring things to pass.

New Students – Fall Semester

We’re grateful to have 4 new full-time freshman students and 4 re-admitted students (those who began their degree-seeking between 1.5 and 7 years ago) who are back to complete their degrees. In addition, there is a very large group of non-degree seeking part-time students who are taking an online class. We’re praying that many of them will be inspired to join as a full-time student in the future. Including our returning students from 23-24, there are now 40+ students taking classes this fall with 24 on campus. All praises to God!

Please pray for the new and re-admitted students to settle in well and begin the all-important friendship building process so that they feel a special part of the IBC family and fulfillment of God’s calling on their lives.

God bless you and keep you,

Linda
