“I’m trying to respect my teachers by keeping up with my homework,” the student shared. What? Did I hear that right? I’ve never had a student express that before! How perceptive! Indeed, it can be seen as disrespect toward the instructor when a student waits till the last minute to turn in all their work for the semester. Teachers intentionally arrange the class schedule so that assignments have maximum benefit when they are done in conjunction with the lectures or other class content. It also makes grading much easier, and it’s easier for the instructor to treat the assignments impartially.

This comment represents one way the freshmen class this year has been a great encouragement. Thank you so much for your continued prayers that the students would continue to grow in Christ and demonstrate exemplary commitment to their studies.
Thank you also for praying for the alumni potluck. It was well attended. Fellowship was good and it was great to catch up a bit with 6 alumni and two of their spouses.

Praise God for a great weekend last weekend when I had the privilege and honor of attending my nephew’s wedding in Illinois!
Until next month,
Martha
