Dear Friends,

Thanks so much for your constant prayers and encouraging emails.  This past month or so has been really crazy, but I can see the Lord going before in every step of the way.  You may remember that after my medical evacuation from Papua New Guinea, I spent a week in a hospital in Brisbane, Australia where I was given the diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.  However, I have been waiting to see a doctor here before starting any medications.

Thankfully today I finally was able to get an appointment to see the neurologist.  I’ll be going in on December 5, so that gives me some time to visit family in the USA before Christmas!!  I’m really excited about that.

Please pray that this new doctor will accept my test results and MRI scans from Australia and that I can start MS treatment right away.  They’ll want to observe me for awhile, but Lord willing I can return to PNG early in the New Year.

At the moment, I’m working on Bible translation and have been busy drafting the book of John.  I am looking forward to the day when the Mengen people will be able to hold their own Bible in their hands!!  I know they are anxious and excited, too.

Thanks again for your prayers.
