Classes are finished for the semester except for a few finals. The students are tired and relieved. This coming week will be filled with celebrations in addition to final exams. Here are a few events you may be able to attend or observe online:
STUDENT MINISTRY SHOWCASE
Time: Friday, May 23, 2025 at 7:00pm (MST)
Location: IBC Student Center (2237 E. Cedar Ave, Flagstaff, AZ)
This will showcase the students’ God-given gifts in various forms of art including music, storytelling, writing, and public speaking.
IBC COMMENCEMENT
Time: Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 2:00pm (MST)
Location: IBC Outdoor Commons (2918 N. Aris St., Flagstaff, AZ)

Six students are graduating with bachelor’s degrees in addition to 12 others receiving associates or one-year certificates. Below are the bachelor’s grads with Dr. Jason Koppen behind them.
Their graduation will be bittersweet. After pouring into most of these students for between 4 and 7 years, it will be exciting and difficult to see them “launch.” Please be praying for them to stand firm in the faith, to continue to grow, and to follow the path God has laid out for them.
I would encourage you to consider tuning in to the commencement if you are able. It is the highlight of the year. We learned during COVID that the best commencement speakers are the bachelor graduates themselves. They will share from their hearts what God has done in their lives and provide specific prayer requests for you to bring before God on their behalf.
