Greetings all,
We just wanted to send out an update and thank you for praying for Geoff and I as we make plans to head out to Asia Pacific in just a couple of weeks. We are very grateful for how the Lord has been graciously providing for this trip – not only for us to be able to make the trip over that but also to get home!! Our plans are to depart on April 8, so these next couple of weeks will be busy getting the final arrangements made, getting all my teaching materials in order, and tying up loose ends.
We also have a BIG answer to prayer to share with you this morning. We have been praying now for a number of months for the import permit of our new R-66 helicopter. We just received news that the permit has been granted which will allow us to bring the helicopter in duty free!! With this we are now in the process of getting it shipped as soon as possible. We are told that the time to get it from the USA to it’s final destination will be roughly 50 days. Continue to pray for the little hurdles that get in the way. One prayer request is that the government would allow for it to pass through customs at the final destination, as it would be very difficult to have to open up the crate if they should ask to inspect it at the first port of entry. We were really hoping it could be there in time for this trip, but should have it in time for the next one. Below are few photos of the R-66 helicopter which looks just like the one in the crate.
