Dear Praying Friends,

Thank you for your prayers and financial support!  As Jesus said, “Without me you can do nothing.”  God has you, to sustain us in our ministry here in Papua New Guinea.

We received word from the doctor today that Steve’s blood test for his possible liver damage came back normal.  Praise the Lord!  There is no liver damage. “He done done-it again!”

We are contacted daily from individuals who are seeking counsel and help for various reasons.  Please pray that these ministry opportunities would glorify God.

At the doctor’s office, Sandy talked to a national lady in the waiting area.  Her children attended our RI class (religious instruction) in past years.  The children are now attending a different school that does not have any RI classes.   Her children want us to start an RI class in their school.  Please pray that we can get the approval from the Headmaster of the school to begin an RI class.  The next hurdle will be to find some national Christians who can teach this class.  There is a pool of students from our Bible College as potential teachers for this class.

There have been people saved each week in the RI classes.  There are two men from our Bible College who are teaching the class.  The girls have stopped coming.  We are trying to get two women from our Bible College to work jointly with the two men, and then begin two separate classes.  One class will be for witnessing, and the second class will be for discipleship.  Please pray that this will work out and that perpetually these classes will be covered by students from our Bible College.  Possibly, classes at different schools can be taught on different days, so that the classes can be covered by the same teachers.

Steve also had the privilege to lead one man to Christ for the past two Sundays.  Steve has begun discipleship with the one man named Kenny.  The second man, Bibf (beef), is from out of the area and does not know how to read.  Steve encouraged him to talk to the local church pastor in his village.  His wife is a Christian and is a member of that church.  Bibf found out last Sunday what the problem was in his marriage.  He needed to have his sins forgiven so that the Holy Spirit of God could help him make the right decisions in his family.  Please pray for the spiritual growth of these new believers.

Thanks again for your prayers.  God is able!

Listening for the trump and praying,

Steve and Sandy Aholt
