Well, we survived the busiest week of the school year! The Student Ministry Showcase, several celebratory dinners, and Commencement are behind us.

The Student Ministry Showcase, at which students display the use of creativity for ministry, was, according to several, one of the best we’ve put on so far. The above photo provides a glimpse into the use of a sketch board in sharing the gospel with a crowd.
The reason I am sending this June update a little early is that I have some exciting news to share with you in addition to the end-of-the-year events. Soon I hope to be joining 7 men (including two IBC students) on a scouting/ministry trip to Miguel Alemán, Sonora, Mexico. We would certainly appreciate your prayers for our flexibility, unity as a team, health and safety, profitable interactions with the people who will be hosting us, and that some indigenous migrant workers will be exposed to the Gospel. Please pray some would trust in Christ and bring their new-found faith back to their villages.
Here is a photo of a migrant family I met 6 years ago when I traveled to Mexico to represent Global Recordings Network (GRN). GRN is helping finance this current trip as well and we will be using their material.
This final photo is of some temporary migrant housing (quartaria) that is provided for those farm workers who plant and then harvest much of the crops we buy here in the U.S. Some agricultural companies provide adequate accommodations and others, not so much.
Please hold us up in your prayers! We will be back in the states later in June, Lord willing, and I will be back in the office to prepare for next semester and assist with writing the self-study that we need to maintain our accreditation.
