2 Timothy 2:1-2
Greetings All,
Yesterday in Sunday School we were reminded of 2 Timothy 2:1-2, “You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” As we have planted churches amongst the Wana, and as we have been seeing new outreaches started, it has been a blessing to see firsthand how this is taking place.
One of our newer outreaches is in the village of “Pu’u mBoto” which when translated into English means “Base of the steep slope”. (There are a lot of those in Wana 😊😊). This Wana village had religion, but didn’t have the gospel. Our churches have been invited to come and teach in this village and there are now believers. Not only do they have believers but some are now taking the baton and starting to learn to teach as well. And this is how multiplications works!!
We will appreciate your continued prayers for the Wana and the numerous outreaches we have going on. What a blessing to see new folks continually coming to know Christ as their Savior, and then new believers with a desire to pass the message along as well. Jeanne and I will also appreciate your prayers as I make preparations to go back over to Asia Pacific. My plans are to depart on September 10 – that is less than two months away and will be here before I know it!! I have been trusting the Lord for $3000.00 to make this trip and $700 of that has already come in – Praise to YHWH Jireh!
