Ed and Jeanne on their 50th wedding anniversary, high in the mountains of Peru!
I know it is time for another update! Jeanne and I just returned from a lovely trip to Peru, South America where we were able to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our kids Geoff & Tina.

We thank the Lord for His wonderful provision and opportunity. Jeanne and I are so grateful for 50 wonderful years together, and for the opportunities the Lord has given us to serve together with Him, and to now see our kids serving Him as well.
Now that we are back from Peru, we are turning our attention back to Asia Pacific. My next trip is scheduled for March 5. We will appreciate your prayers as we are trusting the Lord for another $2500 to help with this trip.
I am excited to get back as the Lord continues to do great and mighty things there. Just in the past couple of weeks yet another outreach has opened up in the village we refer to as Kilo 8. This village is only 8 kilometers (5 miles) from the village of “Lone Rock”. When the outreach opened in Lone Rock many of these people also became interested in the gospel and asked to be taught. Due to the nature of the way things work in Asia Pacific there was a lot of red tape involved in being able to do this as these people already had an existing church in the village, albeit not a church that preached a clear gospel. Permissions were finally granted, and we began teaching two weeks ago. Over 40 people have signed up for the teaching so there is a very large interest in listening to the gospel message. Our evangelists ask for prayer as they juggle both the outreach in Lone Rock and now this new one in Kilo 8.
While in Asia Pacific I will be involved in a Wana Bible conference as we continue our study of Joshua. I will also be making visits to other Wana villages for encouragement and also be involved in making some Church Planting consultant visits to some of our other missionary teams, many of which are Wana missionaries. We appreciate in advance all your prayers for this trip and the provisions needed. Thanks so much for your part in accepting the Lord’s invitation to be a part of what He is doing in Asia Pacific.
