Thanks so much for your faithful prayers and support. I would like to let you know of a slight detour in my road and ask that you would be in prayer.
For the past week or so, my grandma has been experiencing very poor health. The doctors believe that she will not be here on this earth too much longer. I have decided to go home for a short while to be a support and encouragement to my family during this difficult time. Lord willing, I’ll be leaving this week and will be home perhaps until mid-April. My co-workers are encouraging me in this step and I feel like this will be an opportunity to be a blessing. I would appreciate your prayers as I leave the tropics and travel around the globe to winter in Alberta.
On a happy note, I was able to talk with the Lauretis this afternoon, and things are going very well with the Mengen church these days. Just today they had a little commissioning service, as we are sending out our third Mengen missionary out from our home village!! Pray for Vincent and Manuela and baby Enok as they take this big step. They will be living far away from their family and friends, so no doubt there will be a lot of difficult days ahead of them. Vincent will be starting a new “Creation to Christ” class, and already has a large group of people who are very eager to hear God’s Word. Vincent and Manuela will be living near Brus and Kamilus and their wives, so pray that they would have unity fellowship as they minister together.
And speaking of Kamilus….you may remember that just a few weeks ago, Kamilus became very sick. We are thrilled to see that the Lord has spared Kamilus’ life and has raised him to full health and strength again. His wife is cooking good food for him, so he is gaining back all the weight he lost!! Thanks so much for your prayers for Kamilus and his family.
Thanks again for your faithfulness in supporting my ministry. I appreciate each and every one of you so much.
