Thank you so much for your love, prayers and gifts! We are deeply grateful for your part in helping to share the love of Jesus with the Hewa tribal people of Papua New Guinea.

Praise the Lord with us for a smooth trip back to Phoenix and a wonderful time reuniting with family and friends! It is great to be back together with Micah and Mikayla and Susan’s family. We can’t wait to see our other family members in the near future.

Praise the Lord with us for the wonderful time the Lord gave us in Hewa these past two years. We were very grateful for the many blessings such as for how the Hewa have continued to hunger for the Lord, for the progress in NT translation and teaching, and for the two wonderful families the Lord gave us as coworkers. We are very encouraged with what the Lord is doing in the remote jungle and we know it is a result of your faithful prayers and gifts. Thank you so much!

Praise the Lord with us for the many people who have donated to the airstrip project! We are shocked and amazed at how the Lord provided the thousands of dollars it took to fly the tractor and fuel into Hewa and for the additional thousands that have recently arrived that are making it possible for us to order fencing, roofing and a mower. We are in awe of the Lord’s provision through your sacrificial gifts. Thank you!

Pray for the upcoming inspection of the Hewa airstrip. The Georges and Dunns have continued to work with the Hewa men on the airstrip and the final inspection date is set for August 30. The project has been slowed by daily rain but the men have persisted and they are now working on the last 30 meter section. We can’t wait to hear news that the airplane has landed on the new Hewa airstrip.

Pray the Lord will give us safe travels as we set off for a long drive through California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Utah as we reconnect with family and friends. Though we will only be in the USA for six months we look forward to seeing as many friends as possible. If you would like to talk, please email us at the address below.

Please feel free to check out a few recent Hewa video’s online. Go to ntm.org then click on their “Video’s & Photos” tab on the top bar. You will then be able to watch “Fato’s story” or “The American Dream” or “I Still Scream when I See a Spider”. All three videos are professionally done by NTM and will give a great picture of life with the Hewa tribal people.

Thank you so much for partnering with us in the effort to share the love of Jesus with the Hewa tribal people. THANK YOU!!!

Jonathan, Susan & Mikenna
