Greetings all,
We have some SUPER news to share with you – The ship carrying our helicopter finally left the capital city and arrived our province last week…..Yeh!!! On Monday of this week they were able to truck it, under police escort, to our hangar at the local airport where it would pass through customs. Customs has been able to get the container all inspected and now 4 of our pilots/mechanics are busy reassembling it. It has been a long time coming but has finally happened – Praise the Lord!
Geoff and I have a big trip planned to Asia Pacific in March in which we will be conducting a Bible conference in a remote Wana village which is not accessible by plane so we have really been hoping that the Helicopter will be flying by then. One of the pilots told me this morning that they are indeed hoping that they will be able to assist with all our travel to the interior Wana villages and the conference. The plan right now is to get it all reassembled, get it deregistered from the USA and re-registered within the country. Pray that this will all go smoothly. The plan is then to bring our helicopter pilot from the Philippines in February to check our pilots out and Lord willing they will be flying by March – so lots to be praying about!
