Dear friends and family
Last week I started teaching in Acts. Thursday morning only two came, then Robert and Ekesue came that night with Ableso so we had the lesson again. Friday morning there was only Sevis, Robert and Papaso. So, that was three times I taught that lesson. It was one of those weeks. Teaching through Acts I am teaching one lesson a week and teaching it twice. The second time I am getting the believers more involved in the lesson and also dealing with practical issues relating to what was taught in the lesson.
This Thursday morning they all came except Sevis who was trying to get to town but all the vehicles were full. I taught the coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. This morning I got them to think about the fact that the Holy Spirit is indwelling us and what that means to them in their daily lives, in their gardens, in town, etc. It is the Holy Spirit who enables us to be a testimony as we relate to people and gives us wisdom as we face situations in our day to day living.
It was good to see Robert’s excitement as we talked about this. He seems to be growing in leaps and bounds. I was very encouraged by all the feedback I got this morning. Please pray for Ekesue, Robert’s wife. She didn’t come this week. When we first started teaching up there she was doing so well in understanding what was being taught. But she has missed a lot of the lessons so I am not sure how much she is understanding. Pray that Robert will share with her what he is learning.
