Greetings from Steve and Sandy Aholt,

Thank you for your faithful prayers and financial support of our ministry.  We are faithfully serving the Lord here in Raytown, Missouri.

Steve began physical therapy on his right hand two weeks ago Friday.  He had his carpal tunnel syndrome surgery on his left hand last week Wednesday.  Steve was wheeled in for his surgery at 8:30 and woke up in the recovery room at 9:15.

His fingers are still numb on his right hand, but that situation will not get worse due to the surgery.  The doctor said that it may take 1 ½ years for the nerve to “wake-up” again.  Time will tell.  His left hand is on 1 – 2 pound limit for a few more weeks.

Sandy’s medical test results are all in hand.  She has decided to get a second opinion from a different group of doctors.  Those results are still not in yet.  Possibly we will find out something next week.

Please continue to pray for the guy who Steve is counseling, who is in prison.  There is no phone contact – only in the visiting room.  Most communication and assignments are given through the mail system.  Pray that he would be willing to submit to authority.  The next visit is scheduled for this coming Monday.
