Dear praying friends,

Thinking of you and thanking God for you, your friendship and prayers.

Since returning from the Philippines, I have kept myself quite busy, involved in a number of different activities.

This past week, another ‘first’ – Doug’s birth date… how we all continue to miss him, but, rejoice knowing He is in a better place.

Pondering again on Christ coming to this earth, His death, His resurrection, one’s heart is encouraged.

Christ is RISEN. He is risen INDEED! The battle is won. The victory is ours. Death where is thy sting???

Family will be here later today… we will share a meal together, and have a treasure hunt for the children. Last year, Bryan, Renee and family were celebrating with us – we miss them very much, but are thankful for Skype. The Morris family has settled in Wasilla, Alaska, well… Still sharing Bryan’s parent’s home… Bryan is working, Renee continues to home school the children, and they continue to need to put on coats, gloves, hats, etc every time they go outside. As of two weeks ago when I last spoke to Renee – the temperature hadn’t yet risen above zero!!! They have found a new church home and the children are slowly making a couple of friends.

There are many things I am contemplating…. Returning to PNG is one of them… but I don’t want to make any rash decisions. Appreciate your prayers as I seek the Lord’s will for the months ahead. Of course, a trip to Alaska has been on the ‘to do’ list, too.

May the Lord bless your hearts today as you worship Him –our risen Lord and Saviour.

In the bonds of Calvary,
