“Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone, because I know He holds the future and I can face uncertain days because He lives.”
Dear Friends,
Thanks so much for your faithful prayers for me. What a busy month this has been, and I’m still spinning from everything that has happened!! To make a long story short, I am now home in Canada, 3 months earlier than planned! Hard to believe you can go from the tropics to ice and snow all in the space of a few hours. Anyway, my trip home was the longest ever, as I was in transit for something like 51 hours! To top it all off, my passport went missing in a government office and my flights were delayed by 4 days. Thankfully in the end, my passport was discovered behind a desk and I was able to continue on my way, arriving home in time for Easter. It has been really special to be able to see nearly all of my family already, as we celebrated Easter together. I’m so thankful for a wonderful, godly family who is so supportive and encouraging. What a huge blessing it is, and one not to be taken for granted.
So…now I’m home on furlough and I am looking forward to settling in a bit and connecting with family and friends again. I also have a few trips planned, so it’s going to be a great year. At the moment, Keri is still in PNG finishing up Ephesians and Luke. It will be great to see 2 more books of the Bible printed and given to the Mengen people!! Between the two of us, we have seen the completion of 5 books of the Bible over the past 18 months, so we’re pretty excited about that. What a huge testament to the grace of God; we have seen His faithfulness over and over again!!
Thanks so very much for your prayers and support. I appreciate each and every one of you so much. I’d love to see you during this year that I am home, and catch up on what the Lord has been doing in your lives as well.
Becky
