Greetings from Steve and Sandy Aholt,
Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support. The incision, on the inside of Steve’s left arm just above the thumb and wrist, is healed. The doctor says that the pain should be gone after 6 weeks. So, Steve should not even know that he had surgery after that time. It is healing according to plan.
The doctor could not find a tear in Steve’s right rotator cuff. That is a real praise the Lord! Steve began therapy for his right shoulder Thursday. Steve’s physiotherapist grew up as a Missionary Kid with his parents in Papua New Guinea. His parents worked with the Catholic mission. Steve’s shoulder is feeling better already.
Sandy’s eye test results were sent back to the USA for her doctor there to compare with her past tests. We just heard today that her eyes are remaining very stable. Praise the Lord. Her vision is a real concern and we appreciate your prayers about that and your continued prayers.

We are scheduled to depart back to PNG on 21 May.
Please pray for Stephanie’s family – Aaron, Stephanie, Coralee and Zane Thomas.
Please pray for Sandy’s aunt who is on hospice. Sandy’s cousin will be having cataract surgery on Easter Monday. We have enjoyed being able to talk to family and friends being here with good internet connections.
Listening for the trump and praying,
Steve and Sandy Aholt
