Thank you for your prayers for Sandy. The CT scan showed no abnormal cells. The swelling and pain has significantly decreased. She has an appointment scheduled with a dentist for an x-ray to see if there is an infection in a previous root canal that was done. Other than this, we are both feeling well – Praise the Lord!
We live in Raytown, Missouri. It has made world news headlines because of a mass shooting on February 14th. This has opened many opportunities for us to witness to others who are searching for answers.
Our hometown National Football League team, Kansas City Chiefs, won back-to-back Superbowl games for 2022 and 2023. This led to a huge parade through the streets of Kansas City. As the parade was drawing to a close, the sound of gunshots filled the air. The person who started the whole ordeal is from our Kansas City suburb of Raytown. Since then our city has been in turmoil. People are searching for answers as to why people do this. We have the answer!
Statistics show that when God and prayer were removed from public schools in 1962, there was a six-fold increase in violent crime, and divorce rates tripled. Births to single mothers increased five times and teenage suicide tripled. Today, we see a continued spiral in all of these areas. Coincidence or Causative Factor? No God, no peace! Know God, know peace!
We send this “Thank you!” for the part that you have through prayer and financial giving that provides for all of our needs. We are just now seeing a financial statement for some Christmas gift amounts. We both appreciate your generous expression of love to us in this way.
