Hello (from Budapest Hungary currently)
I am here with Jesse-Ana, headed to Word of Life Bible Institute tomorrow. Jesse will be staying here for a year of Bible College as she seeks to know God’s leading in her life. We have always encouraged our kids to 1. Go to Bible College for a year…. study deeply in God’s Word and see where He leads. 2. Get out of America if possible and experience the difference of another country. This has led to our kids traveling the world, meeting their spouses, and yes, a lot of fun for them along the way. Serving God, allowing Him to give you the desires of your heart leads to fullfillment in life. Now, for us parents that means letting go….and that is often rough. This one is especially rough as this is our last child. Our home will feel very different now. Not a bad thing, just different. Anyway, that is why I am in Hungary (Laurel that is, Paul is home working and taking care of Chip- out ancient old-man-dog.). I leave here on Wednesday to fly home and appreciate prayers for that trip. Thank you so much to the many who have written and encouraged us as we start this new phase in our lives.

I’m forwarding you part of the latest copy of our UIM Aviation update. I didn’t write it…. this one is always written by various ones on our team and focuses often on the works in Mexico where our Teammates are stationed. I thought you might enjoy it. If you want to read more, use this link: UIM Aviation Newsletter to subscribe to the monthly newsletter.
That’s it for now.
Sincerely,
Laurel
Here at UIM Aviation our heart mission is to use the talents and resources that God has given us for the intentional work of furthering the gospel.
We spend a lot of time on our knees individually and as a team to ask our Heavenly Father for the wisdom to be able to most effectively carry out the Great Commission. We believe that this is not only our job as full-time foreign missionaries, but as Christians. No matter who we are, or where God has us in life, we are not exempt from this responsibility! 2 Corinthians 5:18 says that God reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. (I encourage you to read that whole chapter)
This is a huge job!
That is why we spend so much time in prayer for wisdom! We also know that there is a battalion of prayer warriors who are right there with us! This is such a comfort and encouragement to us on the mission field. We often come across difficulties in our work here, and each time that we get the word out and ask you all to pray for a situation, we see God move in a mighty way!
