June 2026

Hi there,

We thought our schedule was full… then we added even more! I hate putting a list in a letter, but I need to summarize just a bit. This letter is WAY too long… but hey, there are a LOT of pictures!

Through all the craziness, and yes sometimes it is too much, we are thankful for your prayers and encouragement. We couldn’t do this without knowing beyond any doubt that THIS is where God would have us serve, and HE holds our lives in His hands. We just need to be faithful. You praying for us helps!

Jesse graduates on May 21, 2026. Thank you for praying for our kids…and now our baby is about to fly away… literally. She will be attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Hungary this fall. We are so proud of our homebody kid making this decision to go, but we are NOT liking the empty nest coming soon!

Look at these luxurious seat covers! Our pilots are grateful as they spend many hours in these seats. We put out the need and God supplied! Thank you for choosing to be part of pampering our guys just a bit.

In March, Paul attended the International Association of Missionary Aviation (IAMA) conference at Liberty University followed by a few days where he and Dave shared about UIM Aviation in classes.

We love the opportunity to challenge the next generation to serve in missionary aviation. Wasn’t it nice for IAMA to hold this conference at LU where Paul could add in time with Gabriel/Ruth, Bethany/Filipe and the grandbabies?!

THE HANGER:

In April, Michael (friend from Bible College, and also from a supporting church in NC) spent a week here with us while working at the hanger.

Tony, Silas & Paul (missing Josh) holding down the fort. These are the guys who can take apart an airplane and put it all back together again. Your prayers help this process to go smoothly and safely. Thank you!

FAITH CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

NEWS: Through the past 6 months we have been preparing for Faith Christian Academy’s fundraiser called: Have a Ball, FCA Style! 200 people for dinner, Silent & Live auctions and a student show. Jesse and a friend did “Who’s on First”… so cute! The evening was a success, and we are all glad that is done! I think this was our 15th time doing FCA Style, and the last one that a Timblin kid will be part of! Wow! Thank you for praying for FCA as we strive to provide quality academics in light of God’s Word. This is a ministry that Satan really does NOT like, so please keep praying for FCA. This year we have 7 graduates.

Paul is explaining about the rebuild work going on.

Josh is showing how the fuel bladder gets installed in the wing.

The students came to the hanger for a Field Trip. I remember when we were able to bring all of FCA students in one trip to learn about UIM Aviation. We can’t do that anymore. This year we separated middle school and high school, and the groups were still too big! That’s a cool problem to have! Sharing with young people about Missionary Aviation and challenging them to give their lives to the Lord is one of the things we love to do.

BACK TO THE HANGER:

Dashboard/instrument panel work has Paul spending hours on his knees, or laying on his back tucked up under there to connect all the right wires. I get to brag on Paul… he is very good at what he does! Our pilots certainly appreciate the precise skills of all our mechanics, and I appreciate your prayers for Paul to balance rest and work.

Miriam was able to come back for her 4-week break between year-1 and year-2 of her Midwifery training in the Philippines. We are so happy to see her again. Once she returns and starts her 2nd year, she takes on responsibilities of Primary Midwife while finishing out her on-line courses for her associate’s degree in Midwifery. She will love every minute of it!

While she has been home, we set 2 evenings aside where she cooked Filipino food and presented her ministry in the Philippines. The house was busting at the seams with people we love and are so blessed to have in our lives! We are so thankful for those who pray for her and support her as she seeks the Lord’s leading for where she will serve.

We love hearing from you. Your calls, texts and emails are special and encouraging because you choose to partner with us and be part of our lives and ministry. Thank you.
We love you,
Laurel & Paul
