June is gone and we are in July already! Wow! We trust your 4th of July was a good day as we celebrated America’s independence.
Our Granddaughter’s Graduation
A special event in June was the graduation of our oldest granddaughter Hailey from high school. She was the valedictorian of her class and needless to say we are very proud of her. Here she is with her parents Josh and Melinda right after graduation.
Also, at that time Diann and I had the opportunity to have a photo taken with two of our children Josh and Ashley. Special time! Special photos!
Pre-field Orientation (PFO)
PFO for our new associate members took place the last week in June in Florida. Participants have said that the week went well and was an enjoyable time. Also, the orientation material which was presented throughout the week was appreciated. Please be praying for our new associate missionaries as they prepare to go to their ministry locations.
Career Missions
For this fall at the Ethnos360 Training Center there are a little over 30 new candidates to start the fall semester. They are anticipating going into full-time service with Ethnos360. We are thankful for these candidates. However, would you please pray with us that there would be an increase in applications for the 2-year Training Center program plus an increase in applications for Associate service in the upcoming year. Thank you!
Maliyali Church
I wrote about the Maliyali Church in an update last year. The Church was birthed in late 2022 in Papua New Guinea. The people heard the gospel in their heart language and a church was born! This happened after many years of hard work by the missionaries studying/learning the language and culture of the Maliyali people.
As always Thank You for your faithful partnership with us in seeing the gospel brought to remote people groups who need Jesus!
Gratefully yours, Dave & Diann
