We are grateful to be back in PNG! It has been a pleasure to return to our various ministries of translation, discipleship, medical, and education work. As we now split our time between the missionary center near the town of Goroka and our Hewa village, there are never-ending opportunities to invest in hearts.
We are proud of the five main Hewa church pastors (Yanis, Faimpat, Kifeson, Maikol, Ken) who are faithfully leading the village church and its outreaches and are blessed by the gratefulness of the children in the Yifki Christian School (K-6th grade). Though there are continual significant challenges that are facing each person, we are encouraged by the continual desire of the Hewa to draw closer to God and to assist us as we translate and seek to apply the principles of Jesus to their daily lives. Thank you for your love and prayers and gifts that are making this possible!
Susan is enjoying helping various children of missionaries who benefit from her educational therapist training. Her office has the bonus of being very close to Mikenna’s high school classrooms and she loves to visit with Mikenna’s friends.
