Trey and Elise have flown back to the USA after their best day of travel yet. Here is the news from earlier in the month for you to pray over:
June 3
In just over two weeks, we will be boarding a few planes in route to Oklahoma. As usual, our time has flown by! Thanks so much for your prayers on our behalf and those with whom we have mentioned in our prayer letters.
You will be hearing from us a bit more often in the next few weeks as we have much for you to pray about and many activities ahead of us.
God answered your prayers in many ways over the last few weeks. We so enjoyed our times with the church plants in both Liptovsky Mikulas and Bratislava as well as the opportunities to serve in these churches. Trey has had many opportunities to speak into the lives of young men and Elise has been able to continue mentoring young women. One of the new women Elise has begun mentoring became a born-again believer a few weeks ago!
The two couples that arrived in Revuca, Slovakia from First Baptist Church (FBC) – Weatherford three weeks ago are doing well! The team of seven from FBC – Weatherford have arrived in Vienna, Austria and are making their way to Revuca as I write this prayer letter! 😃 The pastor, Richard, is driving them back.
Here are some new prayer requests:
- Pray for unity and growth for the church plants that we work with in Bratislava, Revuca, and Liptovsky Mikulas.
- Pray for those with whom Trey and Elise are mentoring. Ask that each one of them would learn to walk in the Spirit and not carry out the desires of the flesh.
- Ask that the team from Weatherford, Oklahoma would arrive safely and quickly recover from jet lag. Pray that God would direct each of their steps, words, thoughts, attitudes and actions as they rub shoulders with those in the church plant and in the community of Revuca. Pray that the two couples that have already been here for three weeks would continue to establish relationships with those here in Revuca and would be shining lights for Jesus.

Hello friends and family,
This is a brief update for you. The week in Revuca went very well and we are so grateful for you lifting us up to our Father in prayer. I will give you more details later about how God answered prayer!
Please continue to remember the Oklahoma team from FBC – Weatherford as they continue to encourage the believers at Kostol Nahrane in Revuca and share the gospel through many outreach opportunities today.
Ask that the Lord would bless the church plant Connect as we meet together for a weekend together in the woods and hills of beautiful Slovakia. Pray that the Lord would use this retreat to encourage each other in our relationship with Jesus and give people a greater desire to share the message of hope with their neighbors and friends.
