Saying Goodbye to our Beloved Mother
In June, Susan’s mother, Mary King, passed away. Susan and her family held a memorial service at a church in North Florida, near the resting place of her beloved Charlie and many other relatives. We were grateful to be on our one-year home assignment in the USA, allowing us to share this meaningful time with Susan’s family.
While waiting for classes to start at Ethnos360 Bible Institute in Wisconsin this August, Mikenna has been busy taking 3 online courses at Liberty University and preparing for her driver’s license test. Once she begins Bible School, Susan and I plan to visit my parents in Idaho. As my mother’s health is declining we want to be with them for as long as possible.
In October, we will speak about our ministry with the Hewa people of Papua New Guinea at a mission’s conference in Spokane Valley, WA, and in March we will be sharing with our friends in Green Valley, Az. Please contact us if you’d like us to share with your church or family group.
Thank you for your love and prayers for us and our Hewa tribal friends these many years!!!
Jonathan, Susan & Mikenna
