We are heading back to Papua New Guinea this month! Our tickets are purchased and we are now visiting with Susan’s parents in South Carolina while on our final car trip driving across the USA. Our next and final stop will be our daughter’s house in Texas where we plan to visit with her and her husband just before flying back to PNG on July 17.
We deeply regret that during this ‘home assignment’ full of travel restrictions we were not able to visit all of you as we were hoping to do. Please forgive us for not dropping by. We can’t wait to return to PNG to be re-united with our Hewa friends and to continue with New Testament translation and teaching. We have heard recent short reports that the Hewa church is doing well and that the new Christian School is still going great guns with the two teachers we hired. We are eager to return and see first-hand what the Lord has been doing.
Praise and Prayer points
- Praise the Lord for giving us wonderful moments with our friends and family while here in the USA.
- Pray for safe travels by road and airline as we head back to life and ministry in PNG.
- Pray for continued growth for the Hewa believers and that the new school will thrive and impact many lives.
- Pray the Lord raises up many more workers who will take part in this effort to bring the message of the Cross to the unreached areas of the globe.
