Thankful

Dear friends,

It’s already November, and we are overdue for an update to all of you. The good side of that is that ministry opportunities have been plentiful, and so we are thankful for the Lord opening doors both here in College Station and around the state of Texas! A few highlights:

• We are thankful that in September we were able to take a ministry trip to Liberty University for their global emphasis week! From a ministry perspective, it was great to have dozens of conversations with Christian college students about opportunities with Ethnos360. From a personal perspective, we were able to spend quality time with Cara and her boyfriend Braden, as well as reconnect with several coworkers and MK’s who now attend Liberty U. It was a very profitable week!
• We are thankful to have also connected with colleges and schools in Texas, including Dallas Theological Seminary, His Hill Bible School, and Dallas International University. Next semester, we are going to be participating in events at LeTourneau University and East Texas Baptist University as well.

• We are thankful also for opportunities here in College Station to promote the work of Ethnos360 and missions in general. A highlight in October was an event called “Into the Buddhist Mind” hosted by one of our Ethnos360 missionaries who served in Thailand. This was a mind-blowing look into the Thai culture and religion and the challenges of reaching them for the Gospel. The event provided a great launching point for further conversations with students about reaching the unreached peoples of the world.

Thankful for New Teammates!

Another blessing we are grateful for is the addition of a second family to help us in mobilization here in Texas. Drew and Leasa DeCuir served with us in Papua New Guinea but were unable to return due to some health issues in their family. Although we are disappointed that they are unable to resume church planting ministry in PNG at this time, we are happy to have them working alongside us here in College Station in the ministry of mobilization!

Thankful for New Life

For those of you who haven’t heard our big news on the family side of life, we are so grateful for our first grandbaby on the way! Andrew and Katie are expecting a little girl here in just the next few days. Thankful for a Thanksgiving baby and the new little life God has blessed them with. Stay tuned!

Thankful for YOU!

Finally, we are thankful for each of you, for your friendship, your prayers, your encouragement, your giving, all of you who make this ministry possible. Last June was our “25th anniversary” with Ethnos360 (NTM) and some of you have been on this journey with us the entire way. Some of you have come alongside more recently. But all of you hold a dear place in our hearts and we are blessed by your partnership with us.
