As I write on this very windy day all the students and some staff are on one of two trips before their spring break. The first group of 5 students and 5 staff (4 of whom are graduates of IBC) left on Wednesday and is traveling through the northwest, sharing the vision of IBC in this, our 65th anniversary year. They will be driving approximately 3,500 miles and visiting numerous churches and contacts in Nevada, Montana, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and California. Please use this link to read the prayer letter from Jason that provides the details.
The remainder of the students, and two staff members, left this morning on the annual Ministry Immersion Trip to serve among the White Mountain Apache people of White River, AZ, approximately a three-hour drive from Flagstaff. They originally planned this trip in 2020 but were stopped by COVID.
I also wanted to share with you a 3-minute video of the students ministering in our local community on their semi-annual serve day on February 16th. The video was produced by the students.
Please pray with us for the NW Tour for safety in travel, for profitable meetings, and that the Lord would raise up new supporters for those staff raising support. There are additional prayer requests in Jason’s letter attached to this one. For those on the ministry Immersion Trip to White River, pray for unity and effective ministry.
For myself, please pray that I would make the best use of the opportunities and flexibility of schedule during these next two weeks to accomplish what He has in mind.
Thank you so much for your continued prayers and financial support as God leads!
Gratefully,
Martha Gushee
