“I never thought I could be free!” That was the testimony of one of our returning students this week in our Inaugural Fall Chapel at Indian Bible College. She was speaking about the hurt and bitterness she carried for so many years due to her past–and of the healing she has found at IBC. Another student testified that he had recently met with his father again after some time apart, and his father had remarked, “I know you are my son, but you are different – from the inside out!” These are the testimonies of just a couple of our students (and there are many, many more) of how God has used Indian Bible College to make a difference in their lives! What a blessing to hear these reports! What more of a blessing to have been a part of the work of God in the lives of these students!! You also are a part of God’s work in the lives of these students at IBC — by your partnership with us in prayer and finances, you are an important part of the tools God is using to change the lives of people!!**

The semester is underway; the first day of class was Labor Day (that’s right—we LABOR on Labor Day!) It looks like we will have 28 full-time students (we are still waiting to find out on two of them) but over 40 total students (thanks to our growing extension program). We only had eight new students but had 15 returning students in leader training the last week of August. Please pray for the student body!

We had a great staff retreat in mid-August; with a total of 20 staff members present by the end. What an amazing privilege to lead such a diverse, experienced, and gifted staff! We have five new staff members that are here with two more hoping to arrive here in the next 12 months. Please pray for our growing staff (we have had some recent unity challenges) that we would form into a dynamic and powerful team. I finally have a devoted Administrative Assistant: Julie from Australia! She has already been a God-send (literally) to help me stay afloat with the responsibilities of a growing school. Yesterday (Wednesday) was my first day off after 15 ministry days in a row, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Julie’s help. Please pray for her strength and longevity at IBC.

I am in the beginning stages of planning a two-month RV trip with the family on behalf of the school through the Northwest and Midwest (December-February). Please pray for the Lord to open up the right doors of relational connections to continue to grow the school’s impact.

Thank you for partnering with us through prayer and support!
