Dear praying friends and supporters,
We are doing well. Sandy had an inner stitch removed, by laser, to lower her inner ocular pressure. She goes back in two weeks to have the pressure checked again. The doctor said that he may need to remove one more inner stitch, if the pressure is not controlled. Please pray as Sandy remains under doctor’s care.
Steve has rescheduled his dermatologist appointment for next week. Please pray for favorable results from these treatments.
We enjoyed a weekend at the lake to celebrate our anniversary and Steve’s birthday. Thanks to Christian friends for their generosity. The temperature was in the 70 to 80 degree range and the weather was very fall like, with the trees in their full colors. Not a little unlike what we are familiar with in Papua New Guinea. God has truly blessed the land that we call America!
We are praying and watching and waiting to see what God allows to happen next:
- Hurricane Sandy has claimed over 40 lives already as this hurricane is predicted to make landfall over Long Island, NY on Sunday.
- We are praying that you go out to vote. We plan to vote too – remembering that there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
It was reported that less than ½ of all fundamental Christians voted in the 2008 general election. Change has come to America. What will God do?
