Term one is now over and I still was enjoying teaching Introduction to Christian Education when it ended! Now I have an easier term ahead of me but major preparations to be made for the History of North America. I am also in charge of the arrangements and preparations for our annual fall conference October 15-18.  I will need to get busy writing/editing the fall newsletter as well, so it will be a very busy term even though I’m not teaching a three-credit course until the third term.

The guest speakers for our fall conference will be Craig Smith. Craig is an Ojibway who has been active in Native ministries for many years. He is the author of “White Man’s Gospel.” Craig will be speaking on God’s blessings through suffering.

My Spiritual Formation group in Antelope Canyon

We just returned yesterday from our annual four-day Kickoff Kampout at Lake Powell. It was the most enjoyable campout for me yet. The four women in my Spiritual Formation group are truly a blessing to me. We enjoyed boating, swimming, sightseeing, studying, praying, singing, eating, sleeping, and talking together. As usual, the weather was great and the scenery around Lake Powell was fantastic.

Please continue to pray with us:

  • for real spiritual transformation in the lives of the students,
  • for God to speak through Craig Smith during the fall conference,
  • for continued effectiveness in all the ministries in which I am engaged at IBC.

Grateful for your partnership,
