Dear Team Members, October 10th, 2015

Hi there from Central Florida! Where autumn is settling in with a bit cooler weather Laughing For those who are enjoying colorful leaves, pleased also enjoy them for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For our Australian friends, it sounds like summer is hitting you with a vengeance!!!!

We’ve been looking at the list of countries represented in the Teaching English Classes we are involved in. In Charlie’s class there are folk from El Salvador, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Iran, Spain, S. Korea, and China. In Cherrie’s class there are folk from Puerto Rico, China, S. Korea, Afghanistan, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico, Panama, and Guatemala. What a privilege it is to serve these folk. We certainly appreciate your prayers for each of us teachers, the students, and for our time together to be profitable.

Please join us in prayer for our country, its leaders, and the world around us.

The apartment that our daughter Esther and her husband Ricky have been buying has not sold yet. Four people living in a one bedroom place certainly is not easy. We know they would appreciate your continued prayers that it will sell so they can move into a larger place! Their son DiMaggio was well all summer, but is sick again. His sister Desi has a cold, and of course it is impossible to keep them apart! Your prayers are appreciated with winter on its way!

May we all be found faithful as we reach out to those around us. Maybe you are thinking, I am limited in what I can do. That may be true, but your prayers can work miracles!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, lately there has been an increase in the number of Jail Ministry Bible Study papers to correct (one of last month’s prayer requests)! Thank you for praying – please continue to pray for these inmates to come to the Lord as their Savior and grow in their Christian walk.

I, Cherrie, would appreciate your prayers. The rheumatologist has me on a number of medicines. On October 19th I will have another medical test which I trust will be helpful and may possibly mean I can come off some of the strong medicines I am on – that would be GREAT!!!!!!!!!

We thank the Lord for you! Your love, your prayers, and your care towards us are such an encouragement to our hearts.

We pray for you all with grateful hearts, trusting the Lord to encourage you day by day,

Charlie & Cherrie
