Greetings all,

Just to let you know that I will be lifting off from Lincoln, NE for Asia Pacific on Monday morning.  My scheduled arrival time in Asia Pacific is Wednesday night.  We will appreciate you prayers as I once again embark on this long ride.

Pray for Jeanne too that she will have safety in returning from the airport and holding the fort on this end.

As for prayer requests as I work with our team in Asia Pacific – please pray for our health, strength, and stamina.  Pray too as we will be involved in a number of activities including a South East Asia Church Development forum in which we will be including a number of our Wana Church leadership and missionaries, for our Wana Bible Conference, and for consultant visits with four other tribal missionary teams.  Pray that we will be a blessing and encouragement with each one in whom we come in contact with.  A couple of days ago I was reminded by a dear pastor friend of mine of a verse found in 1 Peter 5:8 which says “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion , walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”  We know that our enemy the devil hates the job that you and I are involved in and doing all he can to destroy the Lord’s work.  It reminds me of the need to put my full reliance upon the Lord as there is always victory in Jesus.  Thanks for your prayers and thanks so much for being a part of our ministry.

Greetings All!

Just to let you know that the eagle has landed safely in the Asia Pacific! Thanks so much for your prayers for the 13 hour flight from Chicago to Tokyo and then the 7 hr flight from Tokyo to here. Jeanne arrived home safely too, however when she met a large semi truck she got a large rock thrown into the windshield on the drivers side which was a bit scary for her. The windshield has a number rock dents on it but we have insurance on the car so the insurance will be paying to have a new windshield put on one of these days soon.

My trip went very well but I did have some close connections both in Chicago and in Tokyo. But in each case made it in time. My wife tells me that is how she likes to travel as she hates sitting in the waiting room waiting for a flight 🙂 I arrived here late last night. It felt good to finally hit the bed and slept for awhile, so that felt good. I will be proceeding on to a Church Planting forum tomorrow on another island and will be leaving the capital city here later. I will be staying in touch. Thanks so much for being a part.

Blessings to each of you,

Ed n Jeanne
