Spring is here, maybe. So many of you have had amazing winters with severe cold and deep snows, but we’ve had another mild winter with only two significant snow storms so far. As I write this it is snowing—ah, raining, snowing? We’ve had about 6” or so as far as I can tell, and lots of rain, too.

The students this semester continue to amaze and encourage me. All the music students are still faithfully practicing. One is taking off on the bass guitar and another on classical guitar.

The conference in Orlando, Florida that I attended last week was excellent. I was challenged by Gordon McDonald, blessed by Fernando Ortega, and informed by several sessions on issues related to writing a self-study report for accreditation. I was privileged to attend.

This week is our annual missions conference with speaker, Nabeel Jabbour. He is especially knowledgeable about Islam and speaks Arabic as his first language. Pray he would be blessed by being with us as he shares his heart with us.

Please join me in praying:

  • For God to work through this week’s conference by informing and challenging.
  • For wisdom for me in regard to taking another course with Columbia International University starting this month.
  • For God to use the students and accompanying staff who will be ministering on a reservation in California at the end of this month.
  • That we would have God’s direction and wisdom as we begin the self-study document for accreditation.

Thank you so much for standing with me faithfully in prayer and finances as God directs. May God reward you with a bountiful spring after your long winter!

Gratefully,

Martha
