Helicopter trip to Mexico

Wow, a lot has happened since we last wrote. The end of April through the beginning of May found me bumping along in a Robinson R-44 helicopter. A close friend and I made a trip to Mexico to see if the helicopter is a good option for our flight base in Central Mexico.

We spent a full week flying out to the rugged mountains, making shuttles for a medical team, picking up translation consultants, and putting the helicopter to the test. It appears that the helicopter would be a good fit for the work there. UIM Aviation is now in the process of raising funds to purchase a helicopter and train two of the pilots in that aircraft. It looks like I may have the opportunity to train these two pilots in the helicopter. It will be exciting to see how the Lord provides.

New Address!!!

Our new address is: 6350 N Abington Rd., Tucson, AZ 85743

We are praising the Lord that we were able to find a house for Blake. We have moved in with him as his primary caregivers. Currently, we are in the process of making some modifications to Blake’s bathroom to allow him access from his bedroom to the sink, the toilet, and a roll-in shower. It will give him an additional level of independence as he takes care of some of his daily needs. Brandon and Kortney are also home for the summer, so they are also squeezed in here with us. We are sure enjoying being together as a family!

Blake: Check out the “Pray for Blake Haines” page on Facebook for the latest update!

Please pray for:

  • The sale of our McNeal home
  • Kelly’s upcoming wedding
  • Blake’s continued therapy/recovery
  • Provision for helicopter in Central Mexico
  • Brandon’s future plans

Kelly and Brandon Landwerlen are getting married on October 3rd, 2015! Kortney held a bridal shower for her this past Saturday. We are excited to have another son! We look forward to what God has for them!

Kortney is home for the summer working two jobs and taking an English class. She also enjoys helping Kelly with wedding plans. She heads back to Flagstaff the end of August. Brandon has decided not to return to New Tribes Bible Institute for the second year. He is seeking the Lord’s will for his future. He is looking for a marketing job here in Tucson, or possibly in Denver.

The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress and my Deliverer; my God is my Rock, in Whom I take refuge. He is my Shield and the Horn of my salvation, my Stronghold. Ps 18:2

Thank you, dear friends, for your continued love, prayers, and support. He is our Stronghold that will never fail!

Under the Same Wing,

Bart & Kim Haines
