Greetings All,

Just wanted to let you know that the “eagle” has landed safely and that both Jeanne and I arrived home yesterday afternoon. Thanks so much for your prayers for us both during my 6 week stent in Asia Pacific. We really sensed your prayers and know that job would be impossible without you. I will now begin working on getting over some jetlag Smile

Above is a picture which I took last week which makes this job worth it all. On the far left is a Wana believer of many years who lives in the village of Padalempe. He goes by the name of “Pa’a Undis” and comes from the Wana area of Untunue and was saved about 30 years ago.

His older sister just to his left, however, was married to a fellow who wanted nothing to do with the gospel. (The rest in the picture are all her kids and grandkids).

Well a couple of years ago her husband became ill and on his deathbed he told his wife that if he died she should go and live with her brother in the village of Padalempe. She took his advice and after he passed away came to live with her brother. Her brother immediately began to teach them chronologically from the Bible and she and her family have now come to know the Lord.

When I took this picture I was reminded of Acts 16:34, “And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.” Needless to say Pa’a Undis is a very happy brother & uncle, and we are happy too!! We consider it a joy to be a part of what God is doing in the hearts of these dear Wana people.

Don’t let her somber look fool you……she just doesn’t want to show us her toothless smile Smile She told us that if her husband hadn’t died she would still be living in Untunue and still would not know the Lord as her personal Savior. She is truly happy that her and her family have come to know Him!

Thanks so much again for being a part!
