Greetings All!
Great news this morning as I received my visa entry permit for traveling to Asia Pacific. Little by little everything is coming together and items getting checked off for departure mid-September. It is hard to believe that is only 3 ½ weeks away!
In past updates, I have shared that the door has really opened for the spread of the gospel amongst the Wana and we have more outreach potentials than we have people prepared to send. Thus one of our prayer requests has been that the Lord would raise up laborers to send forth into His harvest. It is a blessing to share with you that this month, the Wana churches are sending 9 young people to our Bible and Mission training school, to be trained as missionaries! We of course are very happy to see their excitement in wanting to serve the Lord with their lives. Some of these young people will probably want to serve the Lord in the Wana tribe itself while others will want to serve cross-culturally. We will appreciate your prayers for them as they start their missions training.
As I write this email we have a brand new outreach opening up in Wana, upstream from the village of Lone Rock. In my next update I will show some pictures and explain some of what that outreach entails. Thank you SO MUCH for being a part of this exciting ministry. We appreciate each one of you!
